All public sector workers should get an above inflation pay rise
Legislation should be developed to protect workers tips from their employers
Workers should have “working from home” flexibility where applicable
Employers should move to a 4-day working week where possible
Fire & rehire should be outlawed
The income tax personal allowance should be increased from £12,570 to £25,000
Zero hours contracts should be banned
There should be no reduction in corporation tax & an increase to 26% for larger companies
There should be stricter transfer pricing regulations, with the added clause that no existing large company may offshore their HQs within ten years of the start of the legislation
The minimum wage should be the same for everyone, irrespective of age
The rights & powers of trade unions should be strengthened
The required notice period for trade unions to take industrial action should be reduced to two days
The minimum number of employees needed for an employer to consider recognition of a trade union and a request for industrial action should be reduced to 5 employees
The requirement for a postal ballot process when trade unions are deciding on industrial action should be removed
The right to challenge dismissal for partaking in industrial action should be extended to five years
Legalise the right to strike in solidarity action
Legalise the right to strike in climate and ecological action
The right of frontline and essential workers to take all forms of industrial action should be supported
