Mental health services need restructuring
Additional funding should be provided for mental health services
The Suicide Prevention Strategy needs delivered in full
All workplaces should have Mental Health First Aiders
There should be greater education of mental health issues in schools, further education environments & workplaces
There should be fully funded treatment and research of psilocybin assisted therapy for mental disorders such as treatment-resistant depression and major depressive disorder
There should be full funding for mental health wellbeing centres as an alternative to psychiatric wards

  • I don’t believe it’s the job of the teachers to provide mental health support as they ready have so much on their plate but I do believe appropriate professionals should be made accessible in schools including relevant sign posting for external support
