- The Socialist Party does not believe that contentious issues such as flags or parades can be resolved through state repression, capitalist state bodies or deals between sectarian parties. Only working-class communities coming together around their common interests and for socialist change can challenge sectarian division and lay the basis for genuinely democratic and lasting solutions.
