North Down - Drug Law Reform

There should be a safe & regulated market for the selling and personal use of cannabis
The Cancard should be recognised as a valid indication of medicinal cannabis usage
Drug use should be decriminalised and a focus should be placed on a healthcare approach
Support services to help those misusing drugs to quit should be expanded

  • I've worked in drugs programmes with young people and adults some of the binary options here over simplify the situation. I would liked a box that said it depends. I think that having the support of the law helps address drug use BUT a suite other approaches are needed along side that
