The Irish Language Act should be passed
Ulster Scots should have protections in law
British & Irish sign language should be protected languages
There should be government subsidies on foreign language courses

  • Ulster Scots is a dialect not a language, it is a way we speak and in my view will always be the way we speak and its protections in law are not something i see is needed, whereas the irish language is a language in which many on this island speak but have no true protections.
